Color Coded: Diversity in Children's Literature

Diversity has value. In this course, we will reflect on our role as educators and the materials we place in the children’s environment. Literature plays a huge role, and through books children should see themselves represented. We will dive into some non mainstream literature and work to curate book lists and reading areas based on the cultures in individual classrooms.
